After you submit your enquiry or booking below, you will be sent an email to confirm your submission has been received (if you do not receive this, please contact us by phone or email). Following this, one of our travel advisors will reply to you by email within 48 hours (subject to office hours and public holidays). There are few automated systems in Myanmar and enquiries must often be personally processed with individual suppliers; we will endeavour to complete your enquiry or booking at the earliest opportunity and we will do our best to fulfil your specific needs - which you are free to expand on in the text boxes below.

If you have a last-minute booking (less than 48 hours before travel), please get in touch with us directly by phone or visit our office in downtown Yangon.

About your booking enquiry

  • Once you have submitted your request, we will be in touch by email within 48 hours (subject to working days and Myanmar public holidays).
  • We accept Visa, Mastercard and PayPal payments (3.5%-4% transaction fee, depending on card and transaction type) and bank transfer (US$20 transaction fee) for secure advance payments. 
          
  • Note that refunds, where applicable, will only be for the price of the purchase itself; we are unable to issue refunds on the credit card transaction fee.
  • Our booking office is conveniently located on Lanmadaw Street in downtown Yangon (map location here) and is open Monday to Friday (9.00am to 5pm) and Saturday mornings (9.00am to 1pm). It is closed on Sundays and Myanmar public holidays. Tickets can be collected there, or delivered to your hotel in MandalayBagan or Inle Lake (delivery incurs an additional charge); certain tickets can be sent by email.
  • We endeavour to keep all our information on timing and prices as up-to-date as possible, but they are subject to change.
Transport – flight bookings:

Online air bookings can be made by credit card or bank transfer. Alternatively, you can pay by cash (US dollars) on arrival at our office in central Yangon. Cash payment tickets must be picked up at least 72 hours before departure, or you will risk losing your place; if you pay by credit card or bank transfer, then your ticket is secure up until departure time. Some air tickets can be issued via email, but some airlines still require an original paper ticket.

Transport – bus bookings:

Online bus bookings can be made by credit card or bank transfer. Alternatively, you can pay by cash (US dollars) on arrival at our office in central Yangon. Cash payment tickets must be picked up at least 48 hours before departure, or you will risk losing your place; if you pay by credit card or bank transfer, then your ticket is secure up until departure time. If your bus departs from Yangon, we can send your ticket scan by email (most bus stations at other locations require the original paper ticket). Note that it is cheaper to buy bus tickets locally in Myanmar than through this website but, unlike local bus companies, we are able to offer secure online advanced booking by credit card for peace of mind.

Transport – train bookings:

Online train bookings can only be made by credit card or bank transfer and bookings should always be made at least five days in advance of travel. Tickets should be picked up at our offices in central Yangon or delivered by our agents in Bagan, Mandalay or Inle Lake (tickets cannot be issued via email). Note that it is cheaper to buy train tickets locally in Myanmar than through this website but, unlike the Myanmar Railways, we are able to offer secure online advanced booking by credit card for peace of mind.

Transport – boat bookings:

Online boat bookings can be made by credit card or bank transfer. Alternatively, you can pay by cash (US dollars) on arrival at our office in central Yangon. Ticket delivery can also be made to your hotel in Mandalay, Bagan or Inle Lake (tickets cannot be issued via email). 

Car and minibus bookings:

Online bookings can be made with a deposit by credit card or bank transfer required to guarantee your vehicle. Complete payment can then be made online by credit card or bank transfer. Alternatively, you can pay by cash (US dollars) on arrival at our office in central Yangon. Please note cars come with a driver; self-drive hire is currently not possible in Myanmar.

Hot air balloon tour bookings:

Online bookings can be made with a non-refundable credit card or bank transfer deposit to guarantee your place(s). Complete payment can then be made by credit card or bank transfer. Alternatively, you can pay by cash (US dollars) on arrival at our office in central Yangon. Bookings should be made at least one month in advance to avoid disappointment. It is required to submit the body weight of individual passengers on booking, due to balloon capacity restrictions.

Tour bookings:

Tour booking payments can be made online by credit card or bank transfer. Your tour documentation can be sent by email, pick up at our offices in central Yangon or delivered to your hotel in Mandalay, Bagan or Inle Lake.

Accommodation bookings:

Online accommodation bookings can be made by credit card or bank transfer. Go-Myanmar.com does not offer instant confirmation, but as with all enquiries, we aim to confirm your booking within 48 hours. Our booking staff will be able to provide you with alternatives should your first choice not be available on your travel date(s).

Wishlist item bookings can be made by credit card or bank transfer. Alternatively, some items may be payable by cash (US dollars) on arrival at our office in central Yangon. Wishlist items are subject to availability and seasonal changes
