Day-by-day Itinerary
Day 1 Heho - Kalaw

Fly to Heho airport, beginning your cycling tour from this picturesque spot to the north of Inle Lake. Heading to Kalaw, you will cycle though small villages and stop at one of them for lunch; reach the charming hill station of Kalaw in the afternoon, where you will spend a relaxing evening.

Day 2 Kalaw

Spend the day cycling the scenic hills around Kalaw, riding by tea plantations and rice paddies on a mixture of tarmac and dirt roads; along the way, there will be plenty of opportunities to stop and take photos as well as talk to the ethnic Palaung tribes who live in these parts of the Shan Plateau.

Day 3 Kalaw - Inle Lake

Depart early for the full day cycle, mostly downhill, to Inle Lake. Ride through picturesque villages and take a break at Indein, a lakeside spot that is home to over a thousand ancient pagodas. Continue northwards to Nyaung Shwe, the characterful gateway town to Inle Lake.

Day 4 Inle Lake

Take the scenic ride to the eastern shores of Inle Lake and visit the farming village of Tale Oo. From there, you will hop on a boat and explore life on the water, including ethnic Intha fishermen with their unique one-legged rowing technique, as well as floating villages and pagodas.

Day 5 Inle Lake - Yangon

Transfer back to Heho Airport for departure to Yangon. Spend a final day in Myanmar's commercial and cultural centre, explore the narrow avenues of Chinatown, stroll around beautiful Kandawgyi Lake or pick up some last minute souvenirs at Bogyoke Market.

After your biking adventure, would you like to continue to the beautiful and relaxing Ngapali Beach or visit the extraordinary temples of Bagan?
