There are daily buses to Falam from Kalaymyo; the beautiful mountain journey takes around five hours and costs K3000 (Kalaymyo has regular flights from Yangon and Mandalay; for more information on getting to Kalaymyo, go here). Daily buses from Hakha to Falam leave at around 5am, arriving in Falam at around 9am (K3000).

There are also more comfortable minibus services from Hakha and Kalaymyo, which usually leave a bit later in the morning and cost K7000.

Due to Christian religious observance, it can be difficult to find transport on Sundays in northern Chin State.
